Manaslu Trekking Manaslu (8,156 m) is the eighth highest mountain in the world located in the Mansiri Himal in the west-central part of Nepal. The name of Manaslu comes from the Sanskrit word Manasa, meaning "intellect" or "soul". It was climbed on May 9th, 1959 by Toshio Imanishi and Gyaltsen Norbu members of a Japanese expedition. And first Nepali climbed by Urgen Tsering Sherpa on 22nd April 1973.It is said that "just as the British consider Everest their mountain, Manaslu has always been a Japanese mountain”. The mountain's long ridges and valley glaciers offer feasible approaches from all directions, and culminate in a peak that towers steeply above its surrounding landscape, and is a dominant feature when viewed from afar.

Manaslu Conservation Area established with the primary objective of achieving conservation and sustainable management of the delimited area, which includes Manaslu. The Manaslu region offers a variety of trekking options. It latitude 28°322 583N and langutitude 84°332 393E.The popular Manaslu trekking route of 177 kilometres.The trekking trail follows an ancient salt-trading route along the Budhi Gandaki River.

Itinerary of Manaslu Trekking : -

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu/ Nepal/ transfer to hotel
Day 02: Full day guided sightseeing-visit Nepal’s main sightseeing spots
Day 03: Kathmandu drives bus to Arughat (600m) overnight at Hotels/tented camp
Day 04: Trek Arughat (600m) to Soti Khola (710m) overnight at tented camp
Day 05: Trek Soti Khola (710m) to Machha Khola (930m) overnight at tented camp
Day 06: Trek Machha Khola (930m) to Doban (1050m) overnight at tented camp
Day 07: Trek Doban (1050m) to Philim (1550m) overnight at tented camp
Day 08: Trek Philim (1550m) to Deng (1800m) overnight at tented camp
Day 09: Trek Deng (1800m) to Ghap (2100m) overnight at tented camp
Day 10: Trek Ghap (2100m) to Lho Gaun (3180m) overnight at tented camp
Day 11: Trek Lho (3180m) to Sama Gaun / Sama Gompa (3530m) overnight at tented camp
Day 12: Acclimatization day at Sama Gaun to go Manaslu base camp overnight at tented camp
Day 13: Trek Sama Gaun (3530m) to Samdo (3860m) overnight at tented camp
Day 14: Trek Samdo (3860m) to Dharamsala (4480m) overnight at tented camp
Day 15: Trek Dharansala (4480m) to Bimtang (3720m) overnight at tented camp
Day 16: Acclimatization day at Bimtang (3720m) overnight at tented camp
Day 17: Trek Bimtang (3720m) to Gho (2560m) overnight at tented camp.
Day 18: Trek Gho (2560m) to Manang Tal overnight at tented camp.
Day 19: Trek Manang Tal to Bhulbhule (840m) overnight at tented camp.
Day 20: Bhulbhule (840m) drive bus to Kathmandu overnight at hotel
Day 21: Free day in Kathmandu for personal activities or join onward program or final departure
